Testers wanted

Help Kryfo onto Google Play.

Google only lets a new app into the Play Store after people have tested it for 14 days in a row. You'd be one of them. It takes two minutes, and then you just keep the app.

15 testers needed for 14 days

Google needs 12. We're aiming for 15, in case a few drop out.

01 · How

Three steps, then nothing.

  1. Join the testers group

A Google Group is how Play knows who may test. Joining is one tap with your Google account.

If Google says you don't have access, tap “Join group” at the top of the Google page.

  2. Opt in on Play

Open the test link with the same account and tap “Become a tester”.

  3. Install and keep it 14 days

Install Kryfo from Play and use it a little. Say hi in the Marios chat if something feels off.

What you need

An Android phone and a Google account. That's Google's rule for Play testing, not ours: Kryfo itself never asks for an email or a number.

What anyone sees

Google sees that you joined the test. Kryfo sees nothing about you, and your chats stay as private as on any other copy.

The Play copy has its own key

Kryfo from this site, GitHub and F-Droid is signed with one key, so any of them can update the others. On Play, Google signs with a key it holds, so the Play copy can't update the others and they can't update it. To switch between them: back up in Kryfo, uninstall, install the other copy, restore.

Rather keep Google out of it? Kryfo is on F-Droid and right here on kryfo.app, the same app.
